I recently heard a new codename, and it’s not Microsoft’s. Announced this past summer, Atlantic is IBM’s expansion of its ranks of Java developers to compete with Microsoft’s Visual Studio tools in the enterprise space. All this at a time when Team System is expanding the ranks of .NET developers to compete with IBM’s Rational suite … should be interesting.
