I just read an article in the March 2004 issue of PC World magazine. Yes, I know, it was a slow day in the airport and I wasn’t reading a .NET magazine.
- Windows XP was code-named Whistler (a British Columbia ski resort)
- Windows (far future) is code-named Blackcomb (also a British Columbia ski resort)
- Windows (near future) is named Longhorn, after the Longhorn Saloon and Grill, situated between the two resorts. Give them a call at (604) 932-5999 and be sure to order the Avalon platter with a side of XAML fries!
